The operator offers two types of rapid service in the line. One is "Rapid" (快速 Kaisoku ) shown with green in signboards and maps, between Yokohama and Shōnandai of Izumino Line. The other is "Express" (急行 Kyūkō ) indicated with red, between Yokohama and Ebina on the Main Line. Unlike other Japanese major private railways, the company does not operate Limited Express (特急 Tokkyū ).
A bypass to JR Yokohama Hazawa Freight Terminal is being built from Nishiya Station, to enable through service to Shōnan Shinjuku Line. Completion is announced to be in 2015. Further extension to Shin-Yokohama Station and Tōkyū Tōyoko Line is also in progress, which connects Shibuya Station.
